Alex Gosselin, yoga instructor

Alex (she/her) is a psychotherapist by day and yoga teacher by night. She graduated from the 250 hour YTT program with Yoga Tree Studio in 2018 and studied under the guidance of Jason Lu and Ali Alexander. She also completed training in Trauma Informed Yoga with Sarah Kinsley, Somatics and Restorative Yoga with Kim McBean and Indu Vashist and is a Somatic Experiencing™ Practitioner.

Alex’s teaching style aims to cultivate a brave and playful space for self exploration emphasizing each person's right to choose and sense into what feels best for their body. Participants can expect to engage in movement practices that combine slow and steady progressive exercises with many held postures to enhance connection to the present-moment experience, including awareness of thoughts, emotions and body sensations. Participants leave Alex’s classes feeling more attuned, nourished, strong and connected. Her classes are ideal for those looking to unwind, build proprioception, increase mobility and strength, cultivate greater self acceptance and decrease physical pain.

When she is not working or teaching she enjoys being in the gym training, eating burritos, playing volleyball and walking her beloved dog Enzo.
